Writing out a *.amb B-format file?

Trying to figure out how to write a 3rd order ambisonic file to disk in b-format. Can anyone help me figure out how to encode and record/write an .amb file? I know that .amb files have a special wav header so I don’t think I can just use a 16 channel spat5.sfrecord~, right?

Feeling pretty lost here, any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi,

No, sorry it’s not possible to write .amb files with Spat. Indeed this requires a special wav header that is not supported by spat5.sfrecord~.
I guess you could just write a regular 16 channel wav file, and then convert it to .amb file using other existing tools ? (I dont know which one)
