Hello dear spaters,
So my set of speakers is a bit strange i have a “traditional” of 8 speakers around the listener and we also add 2 speakers which are over the listener.
Is there a way to treat them in spat or do i have to keep them separate from spat?

Well, it kind of depends on what you expect from these two additional speakers.
If you really want to treat your speakers layout as a whole (i.e. the 10 speakers together), you may want to consider 3D panning techniques, such as vbap3d (3D vector-based amplitude panning) for instance. The “drawback” is that when a source will be exactly on the horizontal plane, the upper speaker(s) may also contribute and emit sounds; maybe that is not what you intend.
So first, you need to clarify your intention with the 2 upper speakers.
