Hi Michael,

Sorry for the late reply.

Hum… I’m not so sure what the problem could be.
What is the exact type of processor on this computer ? Can you check if the CPU supports AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions) ?
Do all the Spat externals fail to load, or can you load some of them ?

T.

Hello,

thanks for your reply.
That’s what I could find:

Intel Core i5 CPU 650 3.2GHz
Intel64_FAMILIY_6_MODEL37

I couldn’t find out whether the CPU supports AVX or not, however, considering the year I bought the machine, I could well be that it just doesn’t,

best regards,
Michael

Google says that processor does not support AVX.
I’m afraid that’s the reason why the externals cannot load.
Can you live with your other windows 7 machine ?

Best regards,
T.

ok, thanks,
I am afraid I will have to buy a new machine …
btw, I really like the new features of Spat 5, congratulations and thank you for the great work,
best regards,
Michael
