We are pleased to announce the release of Partiels v2.4.0, a new version that further extends interoperability with external environments and introduces several improvements to file handling, editing, and export workflows.
Extended File Format Support
Partiels v2.4.0 strengthens its integration with existing audio and analysis ecosystems by introducing:
- Support for loading files in Pure Data and Max formats, enabling smoother exchange of analysis data with real-time, patch-based environments.
- A new command to overwrite the original results file, simplifying iterative analysis workflows and incremental result updates.
These additions facilitate the integration of Partiels into established research, teaching, and creative toolchains.
Enhanced Export and Editing Workflows
This release also improves flexibility and efficiency when working with documents and tracks:
- Multiple item selection in the document export panel, enabling more flexible batch operations.
- An option to ignore time selection during quick export, allowing full-track exports regardless of the current time range.
- An option to preserve the full frame duration during editing, ensuring accurate data specification for formats such as LAB.
Together, these features reduce friction in day-to-day use and support a more fluid exploration of analysis results.
Additional Improvements
Beyond these highlights, Partiels v2.4.0 includes further refinements and bug fixes aimed at improving overall stability, consistency, and usability.
