HRIR visualization

Hi,

To display the freqency domain of HRTFs there is the spat5.frequencyresponse. Is there a possibility to display the time domain of the HRTFs?

Hi,

There is no such feature at the moment.
Maybe you can build something based on plot~ but 1) that would only work for HRIR (not SOS filters), and 2) it probably wont be super elegant/efficient.
What is your goal ?

Thanks for the answer,

i would like to display the interaural characteristics of a HRTF dataset (ILD and ITD). When using the spat5.hrtf.infos patch you have a frequency domain visualization for each position and i also want to display the time domain of this measurement.

I’ll see if I can do something in future releases. (but to be honest, it will be low-priority. Max isn’t really the best environment for this kind of visualization tasks)
