I have a 3D 3rd order HOA stream feeding 20 speakers (spat5.hoa.decoder~) and I recently added 4 subs. I am running the 3rd order stream into spat5.hoa.reduce~ to get my FOA stream and route W,Y & X (Z left unconnected) into spat5.hoa.decoder~ (@order 1 @dimension 2D) to feed the subs.
Is there a better way (or one that does not lose information) for me to go from 3D to 2D in spat? Like spat5.hoa.reduce~ but for dimension?
