Is there any way to influence the timing of sources within Spat? It would be nice to be able to independently influence the ‘time to speaker’ from individual sources without changing the panning position. The amount of Haas I would want on ‘center sources’ would for example be smaller then what I want on sources more to the side in stereo panning. What I ask for is probably the speaker time alignment option per source…

No, I dont think of any built-in feature for what you’re trying to do.
spat5.source~ can apply a delay based on the source’s distance (its distance to the origin); but not a per-loudspeaker delay.
I presume you could build something on your own, just with patchers. (but I admit it would soon be messy. I’ll see if I can create a general-purpose distance/delay calculator object for the next releases…)

Would a distance/delay calculator still work with more then two speakers if you want to adjust delay times independently?
