FLUX question - sorry.. Not Authorized

Dear Ircam forum,

This is really a flux question, but they don’t seem to answer, and I really need to get it to work.

I have a license of Ircam SPAT, and I have installed newest iLok drivers before installing SPAT as they mention I have to, but when I use SPAT i get they lovely yellow text saying “NOT AUTHORIZED” in the bottom of the plugin, and it doesn’t work.

It was working fine in reaper when I used 2 sources, but when I used the function in reaper “informing the plugin when track channel count changes”, then I began getting the error. It doesn’t help to uncheck this option, and only use 2 sources. It’s completely “dead”

32 bit reaper 4.591, osx mavericks 10.9.1, 2,2 ghz intel core i7, 8 Go 1333 Mhz DDR 3, macbook pro.

Hi

I send your request directly to Flux, for a quick Answer about your situation with reaper…. I think SPAT is not ready for Maverick yet and the problem
is may be coming from this but has to be confirm by Gael Martinet …. We made a lot this year to made most of the collection (except Spat for the moment ) working on 64 bits machines and the new format AAX from Avid. I have to confirm with Flux when a maverick 32 bits version is going to be ready.

When I got the answer , I will directly forward you the release date of Spat …

Sorry again for this situation, and hope to solve this fact the most quickly as we can……

Fred

Dear Frederick,

Thank you so much for your answer. Regarding SPAT and Mavericks. I don’t know for sure - but it worked fine with 2 sources, the problem appeared when I changed the number of sources to 2+. I have a friend who uses SPAT on a regular basis, he is on mavericks and haven’t had problems as far as I knows. I try till to contact him and verify if it’s true.

Thank you for your work, it is greatly appreciated !

And yes, please let me know - thank you!
