Control SPAT Panner with External OSC or MIDI?

Hello Everyone,

Can somebody please tell me if it is possible to control SPAT’s 3D object panner via OSC (or MIDI) messages that do not originate from the control plug-in in a DAW? Specifically I would like to be able to send OSC/MIDI messages from an iPad to control the position of objects during a performance.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Hi,

Yes of course, you can fully control Spat via OSC or MIDI messages. It doesn’t matter where the messages originate from.
