Hi,

According to your screenshot, you are using Spat version 3, which is deprecated.
Please upgrade to a newest version (v4.x), and check out the examples and tutorials.
It should be rather straightforward to use microphones instead of sound files.
Using controllers is pretty easy as well, but it completely depends on 1) which controller you’re using and 2) which kind of process you want to control with it.
We cannot help if you’re not more specific.

Let us know how it goes after you upgraded.

Hello T.
thanks for your reply.
I have upgraded and opened the Packages / ircam-spat / tutorials, could you recommend one for live performance in 3 microphones (instruments) with quad phonic.
I have midi nano controller, Leap motion, Wii, Kinect ( not yet setup).
Technology flies so fast, I am very far behind.
thanks again

Hi,

Tutorials #1 and #2 are close to what you want to do.
For external controller devices, you could have a look at the “ctlin” or “hi” objects, for instance.
