Xmulti library in 7.x

Hi

I tryed to load the library for the first time in 7.0 or 7.3 and I get this error:
“An error of type simple-error ocurred: GetTextMetrics failed for HDC 83010FA6: version 16384, size 1920x1080, font 235540606 6, rush 9437200 2, pen 115343539 1.”

Somebody guesses what could it be?

Hi David,

I think you are using an old version of the library. Get the latest from here:
OMXmulti download | SourceForge.net

Unless it is not the loading part that troubles you. In this case please do give more details.
(versions, Os, etc.)

There is a mistake in the description of the library, It doesn’t work since the 7.0 version.

Still I only have this error message, I looked for this “GetMetrics” function in OpenMusic code and didn’t find any function that matches, to see if I could do some changes in the code of the library to make it works in the 7.x environment.

I’m the dev of the library! :slight_smile:

Oh!

Now it works,…maybe after installing the new version, the 7.3 something got wrong, and after rebooting, or updating something internal it works!
