XML errors on 0.7 standalone with FullSOL

Hi,

After everything working fine with XML export to Finale on the standalone v. 0.7 and OchideaSOL2020, I pulled the trigger on the FullSOL2020 in hopes of better results.

However, now everytime I try to open my XML files generated using FullSOL, Finale gives me these kinds of errors:

XML error in file /Users/jhartika/Documents/MyTargetTEST.musicxml at line 332:
cvc-minInclusive-valid: Value ‘-1’ is not facet-valid with respect to minInclusive ‘0’ for type ‘octave’.

XML error in file /Users/jhartika/Documents/MyTargetTEST.musicxml at line 416:
cvc-minInclusive-valid: Value ‘-1’ is not facet-valid with respect to minInclusive ‘0’ for type ‘octave’.

After clicking OK to about five of these, Finale says this before opening the file:

Further XML validation errors will be ignored.

If I revert back to using OrchideaSOL instead of FullSOL, I don’t get these XML error messages.

Any idea how to fix this? I don’t have Max, so using the MaxOrch 0.7.4 version won’t be an option.

Thank you

In the meantime, I switched to and started learning the MaxOrch, after realizing that there is a standalone version that doesn’t require Max.

XML seems to work fine on MaxOrch, no matter which database/SOL version I choose.

Ah good, I was going to suggest you try the MaxOrch app. I’m not sure why, but glad to hear that works.
You’ll also find that MaxOrch allows access to some Orchidea features that the Orchidea standalone does not.
The only real drawback to the MaxOrch options is it’s all Mac only. Unfortunately that’s inevitable since it’s all built with the Orchidea Max objects.

Glad to see it works… The MXML is generated by Bach objects. Refer to Bach help files
