Two (or more) instances of AnteScofo

Hi Nice People,

I need to set up two instances of AnteScofo with different ports running on the same machine.

On the Max side, I can easily load two different scores in each instance, and send an ascograph localhost xxxx yyyy message. When requesting info on the antescofo~ object, that is reflected by AscoGraph communication is ON with remote host: localhost, remote port: xxxx, port receive yyyy. However, on the AscoGraph side I’m not able to change the ports in the OSC Setup menu.

Any clues in how to properly make this setup?

Hmmmm seems like the OSC Setup Menu in AscoGraph does not want to change!!! I’ll look into this as soon as possible and will keep you posted.

After some tests, you can do this in AscoGraph’s OSC Setup menu by just typing the new values WITHOUT pressing ENTER! Just click out of the edit text box and then the Back Button for it to be effective.

This said, such behavior is unacceptable and will be corrected in an upcoming release.

Also: We want to assure everyone about our awareness with difficulties related to user experience with AscoGraph. AscoGraph is much younger than its big brother Antescofo and needs a lot of attention these days! Improving user experience is going to be our highest priority this year. So don’t hesitate to bring issues like this up in the Forum.
