There is some way to write nested tuplets with ratios?

Hi everyone,

There is some way to write nested tuplets using ratios notation?

With the example: Is it only possible to write it using the common multiple?

For example:

(3/10 2/30 2/30 2/30 2/30 2/30 2/30 -1/2) that OM will translates to 1/10 1/15 1/15 1/15 1/15 1/15 1/15 -1/4 -1/4)?

Dear Charles,

Unfortunately, there is no way to get nested tuplets out from ratio notation, since this notation has no explicit nesting syntax as you can observe. However, you can use the RT notation (Rhythm Trees) notation to have these. The denominator of ratios i snot sufficient to indicate nesting.
