The Flat Symbol in Score

Hello dear friends,

I am going to make some tonal-based Process and meet some difficulty on the way.
I would like to know, is there a way to display not only the the Sharp-Symbol ‘#’ , but also the Flat-Symbol ‘b’ in the OM Score Object?
Thanks a lot!

Best regards,
Jialin

Hi Jianlin,

Yes you can. Check out this page :

Hello Karim,

Thanks for your reply! It works very well.
But every time I evaluate the box or change some values from outside, I must set the tonality/scale information again from inside of the box (editor of Tonality or Scale). Is there a way or trick to set the scale/tonality rules directly from outside without opening the edit window?

Best regards,
Jialin

Very good question,
I don’t think there’s a setting in OM’s preferences that can do that.
Better ask Jean.

Hello Karim,

I have tried to modify the connection/call between scale informations and (OMICRON.ttf) fonts.
Now the score objects can display the five accidentals in my computer by inputting “false” but “proper” values of midicent.
There is a very simple and quasi “inelegant” patch for installation and uninstallation as attachment::
Thanks for help
