Terminal and error

Hello,

I was using the prime-ser to generate a serie up to 10000, then connected to the f->mc.
As I tried to evaluate the f->mc, I got prompted to terminal. OM was not responding, but no hellball (so for the system it wasn’t “not responding”).
As I tried to close OM, I got the error (see attached file).
No biggies, with the force quit it went down.
Anyways, it happened three times in a row, so there might be an issue.

I am using OM 6.10.1 on a MacBookPro with OSX Yosemite 10.10.5

Thanks for any advice!

Marco

Hi Marco,

I’ve tried it many times. It works fine here.
I am on OM 6.10.1 on MacPro with OS X El Capitan 10.11.5.

Have a nice evening.

Thanks for testing!

With OM 6.9 (same MacBookPro with OSX Yosemite 10.10.5) works perfectly.
Maybe is a OM version/OS version problem.
No worries, I can do the maths on 6.9 and then export it as a text file or something.

Thanks you!

Marco

It seems a problem related with memory management. Make sure that all the Preferences in 6.10 and 6.9 are the same.
Also with my computer (6.10.1, OS X 10.11.5) it works perfectly. If you need more information about the error, disable “Handle Error Messages” in the Preferences.
Good maths!

Marco

Thanks,
looks like that it was a preferences problem!
