Would I be correct in understanding that supervp.play~, supervp.trans~ and supervp.cross~ will not work in Max8 on Catalina?, because supervp for Max is not compiled on a 64bit architecture? I’m seeing errors in the Max console which suggest this might be the case.

I think I can answer myself. If I am correct then supervp does have 64 bit externals available.
I guess the problems I see in my console are because the patch has explicitly referenced the older 32 bit externals and I need to find a way to get it to point at the 64 bit ones.

yes your are right, supervp for max is compiled for both 32b and 64b architectures.
It works in Max8.
