I’m starting a thread here to list various tools answering the “style imitation” question. They can be based on manual or automatic analyses of the signal and/or the symbolic part of a music. They can be hand-designed or data-driven. They can use various machine learning algorithms such as HMM, DNN (magenta, openAI…), NN, Oracle factor (Omax, DYCI2…), constraints solver (like in OM for instance). They can offer various parameters for the generation of the output. Finally, metrics to assess how the output fit the style can be also listed.
