Hi,

I have a very simple question:
I just upgraded from OM 7.1 to 7.6 and came across the new shortcuts.
It’s very handy that you can now connect objects with shift-click (x-append or list).
However, I now miss the shortcut for selecting additional objects in a group by shift-clicking and dragging the mouse.
This can now only be done by single-clicking, which is very cumbersome.
Is there a replacement for this shortcut? Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything.

Dear Arnulf,

Thank you for reporting this.
Note that this is not a bug, but an after effect of exactly this new feature.
The original behavior of box selection has been restored and the list/x-append connection shortcut was changed so both now are available in this beta version:
