Recording function in OM

Dear all,

I’m wondering how the recording function is supposed to run. I checked the documentation (http://support.ircam.fr/docs/om/om6-manual/co/Record%20MIDI.html) but it doesn’t really tell one how to properly setup stuff in order for it to work. I have a Midi-Keyboard connected to my Mac, and it works flawlessly with Logic, but when I hit the record button in a chord-seq-box, I get this error: (check attachment). Any suggestions? The OM Listener is not really enlightening this time. It would be nice to be able to record Midi-Data coming from keyboard in real-time to the benefit of a more affective and unintermediate approach on timing.

Note that I’m using this player here http://rubensverregjertsen.com/Research/Downloads/software.html because it is quite much the sole solution that works for me to actually get OM sounding on my El-Capitan OS.

Hi Kayal,

The record button does not work. I’ll try to get this done for the next OM release.

What you need (WILL need) to checak is in the OM MIDI preference panes if your input device is correctly detected and attached to the default MIDI “input” port number.
