Random RYTHM creation for 4 voices avoiding synchronicity

Hello

I wonder if already somebody has thought about how to create random rhythms, in polyphony, with random attacks that will not overlap (avoiding synchronicity)…

Best.

Max

Yes, I think this technique is called “pavage” : see http://musiquealgorithmique.fr/pavages/

Hello, I will like to recommend the FDSDB_XXth_CT Library by Fabio De Sanctis De Benedictis, which you can find in the download area. It is both a didactic library demonstrating technic, but also a practical toolbox. Best, Dagfinn

Thanks! I will take a look

Very interesting… but nobody has share a patch or there is no object already made to make these Golomb rule or canons de vuza etc?

Thanks to Dagfinnkoch for suggestion. In my library it is possible to generate Mosaic Canons. If you simply want asynchronous rhythms (that is not structuring a canon) I can do reference to enclosed patch and screenshot. Probably it will be in a future updating of my library.
I hope you enjoy it.
