While browsing OM threads here, I read about a new experimental OM feature called extras. What is it and how can I use it?
Any hints or insights on this issue would be much appreciated.

In fact it is not a new feature. It used to be here since om 5.x and maybe before. However, it is undocumented and unfinished.
Basically, extras adds some notational features to Score objects, such as note head editing, text, expressions, etc.
You can find some methods under Functions->Score-> Extras and under Classes->Score->extras
And you have a graphical ui if you type ‘x’ in a openned Score editor.
Still a there’s a lot to do yet to finalize it.
