Question about altering the fundamental

Dear All,

I know this is a very simple question about altering fundamentals in the Diphone program, and I thank you in advance for taking the time to answer it.

If my question is not clear, please see Diphone manual 2.8 here on page 22, where it attempts to describe how to alter a problematic fundamental bpf: http://support.ircam.fr/docs/diphone/DOC_ENG/Diphone_Studio-English.pdf

It talks about saving a fundamental analysis in addan and then opening that file (in this case africa.f0.sdif in ImpExport: Fundamental) in the Diphone program.

When I try to open in Diphone the file created in Addan nothing seems to happen.

Yet the manual describes how a graphic of a bpf of that pulled fundamental should open in order for me to edit it with the pencil tool.

Am I doing something wrong here or missing a step? I don’t get to a bpf window when I open the africa.f0.sdif file in Diphone. In fact I don’t notice anything happening when I open it.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best,

Ben Luton
