problemes after re-authorizing

Hi all,

I’ve just enter a new activation key because the old one didn’t allow anything anymore.

All softwares seems to work properly but OM.

  1. the sound level seems very low in general

  2. microplayer doesn’t sound : OSC parameters are ok

  3. Multiplayer recognize the file (name and number of tracks) but doesn’t sound

the patches are up to date (micro-play-2.lisp is included). CSound setting is well set (with --old-parser at the beginning)

Actually, I didn’t change anything after re-autorizing but when I see those troubles, I’ve downloaded OM again but there’s nothing better

Well, all those things are bizarre isn’t it ?

hi Jerome,

Don’t think this comes from the authorization. It’s something to do with the last version of OM.
Maybe Jean can tell us something about it …

I don’t think any of this is related with the authorization, since none of these tools (OM/Microplayer etc.) depend on this in any way.
I hope to release an updated version of OM 6.7 soon, which should correct a number of MIDI-Audio related issues.

Hi Jean,

I told about authorization because everything (I mean Microplayer and Multiplayer) starts to stop working when I authorize my Mac after a year of authorization. I can’t tell anything about Microplayer because I use it only with OM but I use Multiplayer with any aiff generated by others softs (e.g. Live) with drag’n drop aiff’s on it, and now, it recognize the number of channel and the name of aiff file but no sound are “inside”

Ok, I agree, OM and these utilities are free. Multiplayer is made with Max and Jamoma but seems to be on strike ! When I use, in OM, libAudioStream, it sounds !

We are here on the dark side of the sound !! :slight_smile:
