Problem with OM-Chant 2.3…

hi all,

following the previous topic i’ve installed :

https://forge.ircam.fr/p/OM/downloads/get/OM_6.13.zip

and

https://forge.ircam.fr/p/OM/downloads/get/OM-Chant_2.3.zip

Evrything works but OM-Chant 2.3 !

I have:

OpenMusic v. 6.13.0.2
r. 2017/12/08

But only with OM-Chant 2.3… none problem with OM-Chant 2.2 !

Hello Jérome.

Your Listener output says Chant is not found.

Have you checked in your preferences, if the path to the Chant kernel is correct ?

My guess: the recorded path in the preferences is somewhere in …/OM-Chant 2.2/…/ , which does not exist anymore (since you installed 2.3)
If this is the case, just reset the correct new path using the “Restore” button.

Let me know if it works…

yes, it was a problem with path ! So, I’ve cancelled my preferences file, And now, it works…

I have just updated OM-Chant 2.3 on ForumNet
The chant executable path is now “hidden” (not a user preference anymore).

This should fiw such version compatibility issue in the future.
