Pipo.sylseg gives strange results if the buffer is not full

If I record into a buffer, but don’t fill it, and run pipo.sylseg on it, it sticks the markers for the last phrase at the end of the buffer, even though there’s no audio there, and does not align the markers for the last phrase with the events. See attached image (using the pipo.sysleg maxhelp file)

Any ideas?

thanks,
