I am a DMA student at the New England Conservatory in the US. For my dissertation I’m interested in building a theoretical framework on OM that can analyze MIDI from different aspects of music (rhythm, pitch duration, velocity… etc.) I have an extensive plan for how this framework can be built but I need specialists with OM familiarity to actually realize this framework. I envisioned my framework but I am limited by my lack of knowledge in OM…
