Hi Thibaut,
just a quick follow up question: OSCar is working fine on my M1 MBP as a VST3 plugin natively, but the aax version seems to be only working in Rosetta. Can you confirm this? If yes, are there any plans to make the aax version compatible with Apple Silicon?

Please find below a beta build that should be compatible with AAX Apple Silicon.
Admittedly this build has not been extensively tested; I hope it’s ok, but please report how it goes for you.

I unfortunately found a slightly obscure bug that appears in the aax and the VST version (also in OSCar 1.2.5, so I’m not sure if the post belongs here): OSCar doesn’t seem to reliably transmit automation values from the DAW. Live communication between Max and the DAW is working, but as soon as stored (constant) values should be recalled, SPAT loads values that are close to the desired ones or completely random ones or none at all. Ramps between values in the DAW help somewhat, but I suspect this cannot be the solution. I for example can send coordinates to Ableton and Pro Tools (on Intel and M1), which are stored, but no OSC messages get sent back when I start playback. Port numbers are fine, I also tried modifying the polling rate and activating bundle and playhead. Could it be that OSCar tries to reduce the refresh rate? Would there be a possibility for OSCar to send all values that change as soon as the playhead moves or is repositioned?

However I dont fully understand your workflow/issue. Could you please try to clarify ? Maybe a with screen recording demonstrating the problem ? Also, which version of OSCar are you using ?
