Orchids database import issues

Hi all
I have always the same problem: I can’t keep my databases when quiting Orchids. They get corrupted !

Here are the steps, one by one:

  1. import of a sound files folder in my db.
On my computer, it takes roughly 15 mn for a 140 Mo folder with approx. 150 files in it.
It runs fine, I can even orchestrate. (and even importing several folders).
Here is the copy/paste of the max window contents: http://echanges.ircam.fr/filez/download.php?ad=5297dPPeDI

Then, two solutions.

2a. I work a little bit with it and there is eventually an error occurring, like an analysis error for instance, when the app blocks, freezes, and I have to force to quit.
Then, when I relaunch Orchids: http://echanges.ircam.fr/filez/download.php?ad=5298oBOxdh

It’s definitely ruined, I have to start my importations from scratch.

2b. I try to quit clean and relaunch, to see if the DB is still there. And each time : http://echanges.ircam.fr/filez/download.php?ad=5299GKd83h
… it seems right, isn’t it ?
I confidently launch a “parse database” in the “explorer” tab: http://echanges.ircam.fr/filez/download.php?ad=5300rV3zyf

… the app freezes.
… even when you tentatively quit properly with the “quit” tab.
It’s ruined again, I go back to step #1 and cry a river.

So my opinion is, my databases corrupt easily, but why ?
Does it come from my sound files? it may have been the case, I had once corrupted sound files, they where translated from mp3s, but it’s fixed (at least they seem right) (double-checked in Sample Manager).

Ideas? Someone has the same problem ?
