Future Music Lab Open Seminar II
One of the four laureates of the Future Music Lab 2013 at Atlantic Music Festival, Baroque Oboist Brandon Labadie, who just graduated from Juilliard, presenting a few variations from his new work “Les Folies d’Électronique” for Baroque Oboe and Violin. This example shows the integration of the Baroque tradition (taking the theme of “La Folia”), and the latest technology, including IRCAM’s “superVP” objects a in real time performance and composition.
Future Music Lab is designed to foster high-level instrumental players who are performer/composers working with the latest technology.
