Omspat on linux

Hi!

I have a working om-spat install on an older linux machine and am thinking about upgrading.
But I’m not sure if the currently distributed version of om-spat will work on linux?

Thanks!

I installed and opened OM-Spat for Linux on Ubuntu 18.04, no problems except it’s missing some SDIF files required by the example patches.

Good to know, thank you!

Hi

Please be advised, that the latest version of omspat 2.10 which is available on forumnet is not 100% compatible with linux, since it relies now on a max patch. ou will need to have the former version 2.8 which includes a linux binary of the spat. If you already have it keep it.

I will see if we can get hold of it and distribute it again.
Sorry for this inconvenience.
Best
K

Luckily I kept my working version, but sooner or later I will have to update my system.
Is there any news on this? Out of interest, is there an inofficial guideline on Ircam software and linux?
Thanks!

Dear friends,

You’ll fiend the old version 2.8 here:

Have fun and take care.

Thank you very much!
