Hi Giorgio
I wanted to say thanks very much for making this and sharing it. I’m a big SC user but up to now this has been an entirely separate thing to working in OM for me.
I really look forwards to trying it out. I’m on windows, so I hope things work out ok.
Many thanks - it looks really fantastic from your video,
Ambrose
Hi Giorgio,
Thanks for shearing it! I was looking foward to a library like that for a while.
Best,
Alex
Thanks! at the moment, works perfectly only on Osx…
for windows user there is an experimental version, it is usable but not efficient as on Osx, some random bug with SC server (sometimes it must be started from the Sc Ide), thanks.
Best,
Giorgio
Hello,
I am very interested in OMCollider but I have a link problem between SuperCollider and Open Music 6.12. When I press V on make-scd or synthesizer I have an “error Permission denied” error message on my Imac 27 or Imac21.
I have no problem with the OM2Csound2.2 library whose path is well recognized in Open Music Preferences / Externals, which is not the case for SuperCollider …
In your web page to download OMCollider I note that you need: Requires:
Supercollider 3.8 or higher
Supercollider extension
I have SuperCollider 3.8 but I do not have Supercollider extension, how do I get it?
Thank you in advance.
Didier
Hi Didier,
What OS do you use?
it is a simple problem of administrative permissions, do you try to search a tutorial to “Set File Permissions in Mac OS X” ? because OMCollider write a .scd file in Macintosh HD directory.
On Sierra is ok with OpenMusic 6.12 and SC 3.8.
I hope this could help you, bye!
Best
Giorgio
Hi Giorgio,
Thanks for your reply.
What OS do you use? : OS Sierra 10.12.6 et Supercollider 3.8
is a simple problem of administrative permissions, do you try to search a tutorial to “Set File Permissions in Mac OS X” ? because OMCollider write a .scd file in Macintosh HD directory. :
Is it the extensions of reading and writing that you are talking about? : http://www.macinstruct.com/node/415
If so, my status is “Read and Write” for me, staff and every one …
But on your site you indicate that OMCollider requires :
Supercollider 3.8 or higher
Supercollider extension
OpenMusic 6
as well as on your videos : https://vimeo.com/229208291
Do I understand that SuperCollider Extension is that of writing in “Documents info”?
I thought it was a plugin from this list: https://github.com/supercollider/sc3-plugins
If not so be it. I do not want to abuse your time.
Best.
Didier
Sorry for my bad english.
Hello
Where could I download OMCollider ?
Thanks for the information
Hervé Zénouda
Hi Herve,
Normally you should find it here :
http://repmus.ircam.fr/openmusic/libraries
But apparently the contributor just removed it ???
