Je suis sur Catalina et je viens de télécharger OM616 mais je n’arrive pas a faire sonner un chord-seq. Mes ancien “SimpleSynth” et “bm-microton” ne fonctionne pas non plus.

Je me trompe peut-être, mais je crois que SimpleSynth et MicroPlayer sont tous les deux 32-bit…

Antonio a raison, les deux SimpleSynth et bm-micron sont plus supportés depuis longtemps, et sont en 32 bit donc pas de compatibilité avec Catalina.
As-tu essayé avec un sequencer midi compatible?
Pour savoir si c’est bien le midi de OM ou juste les softs en question, comme je n’ai pas de Catalina pour le moment.

Il faut l’ajouter comme un external dans préférences ? Quel fichier ?

Normalement, tu as juste à lancer l’application la mieux adaptée à ton système ou le patch avec Max 7 ou 8, et configurer le menu préférences MIDI de OpenMusic (dans Preferences.)
Pour la dernière version (la version 13, de début Novembre de 2019), il n’y a pas d’application explicitement pour Catalina, mais tu peux toujours essayer l’application “R-udp-playerMojave” et voir si ça marche pour toi. Sinon, et si tu as Max 7 ou 8, mets le dossier “R-udp-player-13” où tu places tes autres paquets Max (7 ou 8) et lance le patch “R-udp-player.”
Je suis sur Mojave, du coup je ne vois pas trop comment t’aider de façon plus informée et efficace à ce sujet. Désolé.

I advise to use ableton or reaper (or any DAW that supports midi :D) and communicate via an Inter Application Communication driver, like the built in in IAC in MacOs or some add-on for Windows. That’s the professional way to go so you can split microtones across as many channels or sound generators you want.

I think, ratox, he’s looking for a straightforward replacement to MicroPlayer, not basic input on the IAC bus or how would-be professionals go about setting up a microtonal rig…

yes but the question from my point of view is that there’s not so much support for micro player anymore because there’s no more userbase because other systems are much better. And try not to be dipendent from an obsolete piece of software is the best advice I can give on this subject, even if it’s slightly off-topic…
You can also use GarageBand (shipped with macOS). It comes with a decent set of inbuilt MIDI instruments.
But I think it is also easier to use it through IAC, rather than a direct MIDI connection to OM.
The main reason, except flexibility, is that OM detects the MIDI devices that are running when the application starts up, so you must have your MIDI synth running before OM starts in order to use it. The IAC driver, once activated, is always visible: you don’t have to worry about startup issues anymore and can connect/unconnect any device to it at any time.
