OM Player to multiple ports?

Hi!

OM player plays micro tones (quarter- & eigth- tones) by distributing it to 4 channels with corresponding pitch-bends. If I use an external softsynth/sampler this means that I can use only 4 instruments having microtonal playback simultaneously. (Instrument 1: chan 1-4; inst.2: chan 5-8; inst.3: chan 9-12; inst.4: chan 13-16)
My question is: is it possible to send midi from OM Player to different external softsynths/samplers in order to have more instruments on disposal and microtonal playback at the same time. (E.g. channels 1-16 to port 0; chan 17-33 (1-16) to port 1; etc.)?

If somebody has tried something like that, please let me know how!

Many greetings!

OM notes have a hidden ‘port’ attribute that decides to which MIDI port it is sent to at playback.
The out port can be set using the player controls on score objects/editors.
Your life will probably be easier if you use one single port for a whole object (or at least for each voice in a poly/multi-seq) but you can also set it note by note if needed.
