Is there a way to change the page presentation to landscape? Or to force OM to squeeze the notation onto a single page?

Unfortunately, there is no landscape mode available for the time being.
we will look into that and see if this is easily feasible without too much code changing.
However if you need a sheet music, you can still export your score to some engraver using musicxml export or omlily library.
