was thinking it would be nice to have a library for dealing with feature descriptors in OM, does something like OM-Zsa exist?
would be very useful I think.

In the OM Composers Book 2, in the article of Laurent Pottier (“The Control of Microsound Synthesis-…”), there is lisp function gauss-ser. As I can not invoke it, I suppose it is not included in OM lisp function-package. I would be very happy to have it. If somebody has it, please, can you send it to me?
I am working on OM 6.6.1, MacOS 10.7.4. (I prefer to work with a bit older software versions for avoiding problems with bugs :))

This function is indeed not in OM. It used to be part of a PW (PatchWork) library (PW-Utils) written by Laurent.
Here is the ported code of this function for OM.(You’re lucky i still have the code of PW.)
Just put the file in the patches folder in your OM appliction folder.
