Hello Karim, on my M1 with Monterey the software does not load correctly and seems to block on midi libraries.
Dear mmax,
Thank you for your report.
Did you copy the OM 7.app in your /Applications folder ?

Ok,
I will look into that. Most probably it is the portmidi lib problem. Will test it and come back to you asap.

Hi Karim,
I can report the same behaviour as above with the Portmidi error.
Best wishes,
Andy
THank to all beta testers.
Yes indeed, it is a problem with the libraries. Will fix it soon.

Hi Karim,
This version works, and it opens patches much faster!
But I’m getting an error trying to open any patch that has an SDIFFILE class in it. I get this:
Opening the same patch (under rosetta) in 6.20 does not give this error.
Thanks,
Andy
OK
I will report this to the SDIF dev team. Apparently there is something fishy in the libsdif lib. So in progress…
Thank you for the report

Hi,
Ok, fixed the libsdif issue.
For my part, for maquette generation with Chord-seq and poly-Voices, I confirm that this version seems works very well on M1. Thanks K !
Hi Karim,
It works great, thanks! Patches with the SDIFFILE object open again. I will test more patches tomorrow evening when I have time and report any issues, but it’s certainly speedy on the M1!
Best wishes,
Andy
