Hi all.
openmusic-6.10_1.i686.rpm is available
at the usual places.
Built on Fedora, packaged as .rpm. There’s also a tarball with the sources and openmusic binary available at the same place.
Have fun.

Dear Anders,
Thanx for all.
However i am still having issues with your ubuntu debian built package on debian. I’ve build a new one, without gtk2-engines-murrine and libcanberra-gtk-module dependencies as i did with the 6.9.1 deb package i have build.
here are what i have as errors :
Selecting previously unselected package openmusic:i386.
(Reading database … 528039 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack OM_6.10-1.deb …
Unpacking openmusic:i386 (6.10-1) …

I also join a screenshot with the libportmidi0 error that prevents Om to launch. Really bizare.
But what is annoying in the 6.10 release, (it’s not at all a Linux issue) it 's the fact that the lisp code of defun functions (and not defmethod) is no more accessible with the ‘e’ key. I thought that Lispworks fixed that already (?). So unless having a Professional LispWorks licence, it is not that easy to use. That’s why i will stick with the 6.9.1 build.
If you happen to have a new patch from the guys from Lispworks please let us know it will be really great to use this latest version.
Best
Karim

Hi Karim. There are no maintained packages of OM for any other dists then current Fedora. The Ubuntu package (built and slightly checked on a VM) works on Ubuntu 14.04. If you get missing dependencies running other dists it’s not very surprising.
Since you’re using Debian i suggest you set up a build-script for yourself, using the tarball as an outset, ensuring the deps on your dist are handled cleanly. If you’re interested in contributing checked packages for Debian, you know where to put them

Thanks for pointing this out, i forgot about this in the release.
I thought that Lispworks fixed that already (?)
Sort of. LW provided a patch, which seems to provide the old behavior vs. dspec. I’ll see if i find a way to plug it into the release.

Yes i did. But will wait to have the fully fucntional code access. And will put the 6.10 which appears to be a very good version.
Thx man . K

I’ve uploaded new builds (.rpm, .deb + tarball) at forge.ircam.fr. These are patched to include the x-ref tables in delivered applications.

I have updated the package in the Arch Linux user repository accordingly.Cheers,

Hi Daniel. Thanks for setting up and maintaining the arch package!
