I’m just starting to get a handle on Orcidea and I’ve run into something that seems a bit strange.
I downloaded the standalone Mac version and set everything up using the Orcidea SOL2020 release database files. However, whenever I try to orchestrate an audio recording I’ve loaded into the program, the result appears as a huge mess of overlapping shapes, blocks, and conflicting text annotations across the score view.
The audio file I’m testing with is actually very simple, basically just a sustained drone, so I’m surprised Orcidea is detecting such a dense amount of material. There is also no playback of the idea it notates.
Has anyone else encountered this issue before, or knows what might be causing it? I’m wondering if I may have configured something incorrectly during setup, or if there are analysis/settings parameters I should adjust. I tried watching the tutorials to see whether there was any troubleshooting for this, but I couldn’t find it.
