Dear Somax2 friends,
we’re excited to announce that during the next IRCAM Forum Workshops in Paris, the Music Representation REACH team will present the latest Somax 2.7 version!
This new version will include:
- full Max 9 compatibility
- new UI, matching the new Max 9 color scheme and new Somax2 features
- MFCC integration
- multi-label corpus building with the possibility to include custom labels as descriptors in the corpus
- a new object, the somax.atom, thanks to which you could use custom labels as new dimensions in the navigation model
- a filtering mechanism for custom labels
- corpus updater for backwards compatibility of old corpora
- influence delay mechanism
- save state and dump utilities for players configurations and parameters
- new helps and tutorials
