We’re excited to share two major updates to the Partiels ecosystem: the release of Partiels v2.1.0 and the launch of PartielsPy, a new Python library. Partiels v2.1.0 introduces several improvements, including a new context menu for quick track and document export, pixel density (PPI) options for high-quality image exports ideal for print, and a built-in Max patch for real-time spectrogram generation from matrix tracks. This version also includes bug fixes and general performance enhancements. Meanwhile, PartielsPy offers a powerful Python interface for working with Partiels data, allowing users to open, edit, and save documents; modify audio files, groups, tracks, plugins, and analysis data; and export to formats such as JPEG, PNG, CSV, JSON, and LAB. It’s a valuable tool for researchers, composers, and developers looking to integrate Partiels into their workflows.
