New Patterns library for OM

Hi all. I’ve packaged up a new Patterns library for OM. It’s available here: https://forge.ircam.fr/p/omlibraries/downloads/631/

The lib is an adaption of most of Rick Taube’s Pattern classes for Common Music. The current lib is based on the functionality found in CM v. 2.0.

The library comes with examples/tutorials which may be installed to a workspace in the normal way, ie. “Help-> Import Tutorial patches…”. The examples in the lib are similar to those in the documentation for cm2.

Please check and report back about issues. This is a beta release, subject to changes in names and functionality along the way.

A new version of OMs ‘Patterns’ library is available at the usual place.

Some errors in 3 tutorials showing examples of ‘range’ and ‘rewrite’ patterns should be fixed.

A new keyword input is added to the ‘p-heap’ pattern - elide-last? - if set to t will ensure no direct repetitions are returned across period-bounds.
