Multiple listening points

Hi,

First of all modalys is fantastic!

I maybe missing something here, but I want to create severeal listening poins( access-out 1- n) on a mono string. In my case 8 and having them on separate audio channels.

I took the excellent example patch from Manuel Poletti ( 2 listening points i.e stereo) and modified to what I though would be creating 8 listening points?

I still get the message: warning : number of outlets for this box (8) differs from that of the script (2)

So of course I do something wrong, but I don´t know what I am doing wrong. Attached is the patch (.zip)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best regards

Anders

Anyone??

Hi,

Don’t pay attention to the message “warning : number of outlets for this box (8) differs from that of the script (2)”. It’s an old bug we really have to fix…

I modified your patch to make it work properly. You have to know that each time you create two objects of the same type, the must have a different name. It can be done by changing the “name” attribute with the inspector but I usually do it directly in the object box. Each output points must also be send two a different output channel.See what I did in the joined file…

You can find a lot of documentation about mlys objects in the Forums Apps of Manuel Poletti.

And sorry for the delay. I finally get time to configure correctly my account on Forumnet…
