Multi-Item-List problem?

Hi All,

I have this patch, for selecting different sounds and mixing them for listening to result in terms of orchestral timbre:

It gives me a strange phenomenon: when I reopen OpenMusic I receive this error:
Schermata 2025-04-04 alle 16.39.18
To restore or not the file is not useful.
So I must open the patch with textedit and subtitute all ‘#<’ into ‘<’, save the patch and in this way I can reopen it without errors.
I must do it everytime I reopen the patch.
I suppose the error should be into Multi-Item-List class, but I can not be able to understand why.
If useful I enclose the patch, I am on MacBook Pro mid 2012, OsX High Sierra 10.13.6, last version of OpenMusic.
The same happens on Linux, Fedora 32, last OM version.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ciao

Fabio

Dear fabio,

It seems to me that it will not really work out since you are trying to save a reserved character #< in the patch and this is not allowed since we are using only latin encoded characters. But I will propose to you an alternative once i have checked out your patch.

Dear Fabio,

Here is a workaround:

the patch:

Hi Karim,

Thank you very much, now it runs, at least on Linux (my Mac is on repair, as soon as I have back I can verify also on it, but I think there will be no problems).

All my Best, ciao

Fabio

Dear Fabio,

Yes it will work also on Mac. It is not a platform problem…
