MUBU ring with multiple tracks?

Dear Mubu developers,

Is it possible to use more predefined ring tracks in one MuBu apart from using mubu.process?

If so how are they defined? This question both for multiple audio tracks and for additional data tracks. See for an extra audio track example that does not work:

Meanwhile I am very happy to notice that mubu.play now allows for the insertion of new data points while playing.

Best, Hans Leeuw.

Any help on this?

Hi Hans,
yes in your example there is an alignment problem.
Recording data in a ring track, the offset is incremented in order to maintain an alignment between sampled and time tagged tracks
(see the ring example in mubu.concat~ help). But in this case both tracks are sampled, and you have found a bug!
But if you record in both tracks at the same time, the alignment (because of the offset) will work.
Another way to fix that, is to decorrelate the alignment of the tracks: you can do that with the message "view 0 domainalign " (where the domain align value is an empty string). imubu align all the views with the same domainalign “group name”, but views with empty domainalign are never aligned.

I’ll try to fix the bug for the next release.

Best
