just wondering if there is updated info on the arrival of mlys object help files.

also,

i’m looking at some old files, and see a “Windset” folder from 2005.
it contains some Trombone instrument examples with potentially useful mute/timbre externals.
while obviously not expecting these to run now (Modalys 3.4.0.rc2 in Max 6.1.6, OS 10.9.1), i’m curious if there are updated versions of these instruments.
i’m most interested in the possibilities for trombone.

Following up on my post of 10 days ago…

Is there a projected date when Help files will be available for mlys?
Having read the ModaLisp documentation by Richard Dudas (which is comprehensive and well-written), it would be ideal if there was similarly thorough documentation for the use of mlys in Max.

re the WindSets I mentioned, they are attributed as follows:
“WIND.Interface - Manuel Poletti - Copyrigth � 2004-2005 IRCAM - Centre Pompidou”

Does anyone know of, or have updated version of these?
They would be extremely useful in my quest for a real-time dynamic trombone model for use in Max 6.

Hi Paul!

Regarding the Windset trombone, I’ll do some archeology and will get back to you.

As far as mlys objects, we are in the process of completing the corresponding help files. That should in the next ‘minor’ update (3.4.1).
