Metric ruler in Maquette - not working!

Can anyone please advise me how to use the metric ruler in the maquette?

I’m wanting to freely experiment with compositing two sets of precisely specified materials and wish to make sure
that when I move them, they snap properly to metric subdivisions i’ve specified.

Otherwise, I will end up with a notational mess on the output.

Unfortunately, I get “An error of type simple-program-error occurred: div got 2 args, wanted 1”
whenever I turn on metric ruler, and the snap function then doesn’t appear to work at all.

Surely this should be possible? What am i doing wrong?

Thanks!

what is the OM version you are using ?

indeed the snap functions do not work very well. I will try to improve it a bit in the next release (6.8)

Hi, I’m on OM 6.7 and OSX Mountain Lion

Thank you for your generous offer to improve the snap function. That would be fantastic.

ok, so my guess is that you might have a library loaded that redefines OM ‘div’ function with one argument instead of 2…
