Metres of variable stress, let's go Bartók

Hi, I’m developing an algorithm where it would be great to use Metres of variable stress. For example using the generic function Make-tree-groups. Meaning for example 3+2/8 instead of 5/8 ((5 8)). It would also be practical to have metres of mixed denominators for example 3/4+1/16 (Confer Ellen Gould “Behind Bars” page 178-80)

The attached example shows what I’m trying to achieve.

Unfortunately the RT structure doesn’t differentiate between ternary and binary beats. this is somehow a “tonal” and archaic practice of rhythm.
However you can achieve this same rhythm practically like so:
