locking pitch and get info

2 questions about the real time control of physical parameters and getting info, in order to save computational power and simplify patching in MaxMSP

  1. regarding pitch and thickness parameters for plate - which can apply to other objects I guess (implementation in Max MSP) :

Thickness affects timbre, despite the "set-pitch ‘radius’ " method. Is it possible to “lock” the pitch - I assume it implies internal calculation from modalys, but that would probably save some computation power. That would also make the programme more flexible “musically”.

  1. regarding get-info mode frequency (or other values) :

is there a method to get all modes info, or several modes?

ALSO:

and a possible bug(?)

Please, look at the screen capture attached: there seems to be duplicate modes. Is that normal?
