I have been trying to make it possible to use the capabilities of the SuperVP Multistretch Max App, but with live input for an art performance (with speech). I have tried replacing supervp.play~ object with supervp.trans~ (that accepts live input and not through a buffer) but it seems that it can not get stretch messages. The other way I tried was to create a circular buffer for use with supervp.play~ but I couldn’t make it. Unfortunately I have some Max/Msp knowledge but rather limited so I try to work by editing the Forum Apps.Just for a test I also tried with a simple buffer with a size of 4000ms but the behaviour of the module sounded strange (like it had a huge delay or something). Is there anyone that has managed to turn Multistretch App into a live instrument? If not, do you have any ideas how this could be done?
